1. Land marked on survey by "A" is  the medical  spa  area  used for  medical reason,  devoted to enhancing overall well-being through a variety of professional services tha encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit..  The Term spa is associated with water treatment which is also known as balneotherapy, , the spa resort offering such treatment and medication and equipment for such treatment . A facility that operates under  the full time health care primary purpose is to provide comprehensive medical and wellness care in  an environment that integrates spa services, as well as traditional , complementary and /or alternative therapies and treatments.  The facility operates within the scope of  practice of its  staff, which can include both aesthetic/ cosmetic and prevention  wellness procedures and services. Plot 7400m2 Sanatory Area A -Centrally located in the heart of a village resort onSolec Zdrój is a town and commune located in south-eastern part of the ¦więtokrzyskie province, several kilometres from where the Nida river joins the Vistula.

 

In 1837, Zdrój Sołecki was entered in the register of Polish spa towns and the history of the town as a spa has began. with this entry. The charming Spa Park with unique tree population and the Rzoska river which creates lovely panoramas make attractive settings for holidays and treatment. Another place of interest in the commune is the Szaniecki Landscape Park. In addition to beautiful nature, Solec attracts visitors with its special microclimate with high percentage of sunny days and low rainfall throughout the year. 



At present, Solec Zdroj has two springs of therapeutic chloride-iodine-sodium-boron-sulphate saline water, called simply the sulphate water. High sulphur and mineral contents make it the strongest therapeutic water in Poland and one of the best in Europe. Its high medical properties are used primarily for treatment of the rheumatic diseases of the kinetic system, as well as post-injury orthopaedic conditions.

The prophylactics of civilisation diseases needs appropriate ecological environment to be effective; the Solec Zdrój Commune has been for many years involved in various activities aiming at the protection of the natural environment. In the years 1980-1994, most of the households were plugged into the gas supply system, which reduced the emission of air pollution agents. In the result, Solec Zdrój ranks first in the ¦więtokrzyskie Province with respect to ecology and purity of air.


 
An additional element which contributes to the comfort of guests is the location of the spa buildings in a beautiful, historic spa park with unique trees: ancient common limes, black pines, sycamores and magnolias as well as large catalpas and larches. The park neighbours with a lake which attracts swimmers in summer and skaters in winter. 

Solec Zdrój has also historic St. Nicolas church with a crucifix of the turn of the 16th century and a Renaissance tombstone of Samuel Zborowski, a wooden church in ¦winiary, built in the 12th century and the Palace of Zborowo, which was originally built in Renaissance, on the turn of the 16th century, a family mansion of the aristocratic Zborowski family). Sulphur saline water comes from Solec Zdroj intake and is the world's strongest water of this type; it is classified as 3,3 % chloride-sodium water/ sulphate, bromide, iodide, boronous saline water with the contents of active sulphur compounds of 760 - 780 mg / l. Concentration of bath water is selected individually by a computer, in order to achieve best therapeutic effects

Sulphur baths exert general and local effects. Weaker concentrations enhance the development of elastic and compact epidermis, while strong concentration soften and exfoliate it, and therefore are applied in treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis, seborrheic eczema, scleroderma and excessive keratosis.

General effect of such waters is caused by the penetration of active sulphur compounds through skin and the regeneration of joint cartilage and connective tissues, which is beneficial in treatments of degenerative joint diseases, rheumatoid joint inflammation, ankylosing spondylitis, discopathy, as well as post-traumatic conditions of the kinetic system.

Sulphur baths also reduce the level of cholesterol as well as triglycerides, sugar and uric acid, which is used in treatment of the sclerosis of peripheral arteries, diabetes and uric acid diathesis. They are also able to detoxify patients suffering from heavy metal poisonings, and exert fungi-and bactericidal effect.
